Dear Providence College Faculty,

Welcome to our teaching, learning and research community.  The Providence College Library Commons holds patron service as its central mission.  We strive to provide the most direct positive impact on excellence of patron services: student, faculty and staff.

Our top priority over the years has been our students’ research needs.  In the last few years we have expanded our informational tools, resources and services for greater emphasis on faculty teaching and research needs.  Our nascent Faculty Commons is creating ever more tools, resources, spacesand services for interactive teaching, learning and research.

The major objective for the library liaison program is to become a "partner" in the teaching, learning and research programs of Providence College. One way the staff of the Library can better serve our students and faculty is to be more closely connected with the faculty. Individual library staff have volunteered to work with the academic departments and programs.
