    This site provides information on population, housing, economic, and geographic data. There is also a mapping feature (see the tutorial provided through Boston College). FactFinder also provides estimates on populations between census surveys.
  • United States Historical Census Browser  
    The University of Virginia has put together a site that allows users to examine state and county census information from 1790-1960. Users can even generate maps of selected data.
